Today I'm going to modify the old versions of the few pain letters that I have sent. I didn't have much success the first time around, but to be completely transparent, I didn't send a whole lot of them either. I wasn't convinced they'd work--and to me--they're very time consuming (I hate it when efforts are wasted!).
Liz Ryan, creator of the concept, says that people who use them have a 25% success rate. In my months of trying to get noticed by my targeted employers I'll take a 25% chance over nothing!
