I try not to hold back when writing posts on the #90DaysToMyDreamJob challenge so today I’ll be out with it: I’m really nervous that tomorrow is Day 45 and I’m not much closer to accomplishing my goal. No interviews, a few leads and just 45 days left to make my dream job happen.
Am I putting undue pressure on myself? Maybe.
Do I have a good reason to? Absolutely.
This isn’t just about landing another job to make money again, pay off my loans and go on with my life.
This, to me, is about finally making the best use of my time while I’m still alive, to fill my days with more activities that have meaning to me and that help others. This is about finally paving my own path by moving across the country to Phoenix, establishing a home with my fiancé and living as independent of a life I can with the physical condition I have.
There’s so much more at stake here and I cannot let these last 45 days go to waste.
My name is Viola Minicozzi and I’m a HR professional looking to land my dream job in Phoenix, AZ. I recently decided to try a different approach to keep me motivated during the drawn out ‘job hunt.’ From December 1, 2015 through March 1, 2016, I’ve committed to blogging everyday on Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter my progress in landing my dream job.
Join me on the journey. #90DaysToMyDreamJob
