As the time for the 90 Days To My Dream Job blogging challenge winds down, I feel the need to formally give thanks. From Day 1 so many people have raised their hands to help me.
And today was no different.
Before writing this post I had finished yet another informational interview with a fellow Johns Hopkins alum in Phoenix that was eager to listen and help me in some way with the job hunt.
Though I don’t have the dream job yet these demonstrations of kindness and generosity of time have kept me going and supplied me with hope.
Below are the people I need to formally thank:
Thank you, readers, who have taken the time on a daily basis to learn my thoughts and progress in the job hunt. I wrote with you in mind.
Thank you, informational interview subjects. You enthusiastically gave me your time, ideas and led me to many more great people. You helped me feel valued and productive.
Thank you, commentators, email writers and general fans of my work. Your notes of encouragement and support meant more to me than you know. They gave me strength.
Thank you, fiancé. You never failed in promoting and supporting every single post I’ve written (even the boring ‘Email Day’ ones). I am the fortunate one to have you as my partner in life.
Thank you, friends and family, for listening to the emotional ups and downs that the job hunt brings. You helped me keep positive.
